There are two main ways to travel from Elmas airport to Cagliari (and vice versa):
By Traindirectly from the station inside the airport, where all trains leaving and arriving in Cagliari pass through. The ticket can be purchased directly at the station and costs €1.30. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the city centre.
The second option is to take a Taxi or a Tansferwhich can take you comfortably from the airport to any destination you wish. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the centre of Cagliari, and a transfer is the perfect solution for those travelling with a lot of luggage or a family.
